Cyprus Feb. Tourism Revenue Drops

Tuesday, the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus announced that the revenue from tourism decreased 6.4% on an annual basis in February, compared to the 4.9% fall in the previous month.

The tourism revenue amounted to EUR 33,9 million in February, smaller than the EUR 36,3 million recorded a year ago.

For the January to February period, the tourism revenue dropped 5.7% compared to the same period of the previous year. During the period, tourism revenue estimated to EUR 63.6 million, down from EUR 67.5 million last year.

Meanwhile, tourist arrivals dropped 2.4% on an annual basis in February, same as in the preceding month.
